Hey, all, I just wanted to jump on here really quick while I'm walking this little guy and give you a quick copywriting tip that I learned last week at my mastermind event.

Roy Peter Clark was there. He's known as America's Writing Coach, and he gave a great rate presentation on the difference between incorporating information and story in your copy.

And I'm going to tell you really quick about how to incorporate information.

You see, information is difficult for your reader to absorb, so you can't make it flow like you do a story.

So the number one thing you need to do when you're presenting information is slow the pace.

And there's four ways to slow the pace in any copy that you're writing.

The first is to use shorter words.

The second is to use shorter sentences.

The third is to use shorter paragraphs.

And the fourth is to use periods to slow down the pace.

And as you can imagine, unlike a story where you want the reader's eyes just to keep flowing...you don't want sudden stops with the information. Each of these steps allows them to slow down and absorb it.

So as you are weaving your information in with your copy, be sure to ask yourself, "Can I make this shorter?" Can I use a simpler word?  Can I break this down into easier to understand concepts?

And that will help boost your conversions a lot.
