What is an affiliate link?
An affiliate link is a link to a website with a product or service that I recommend. If you follow a link, and purchase a product I will get a small "finders fee". It usually amounts to a few cents or a few dollars. This cost you nothing, and helps me keep the lights on (or more likely fuel my caffeine addiction).

Why are you recommending these products or services?
I only recommend products or services that I use. I will never use an affiliate link for something that I do not have personal experience with. I only recommend products that have exceeded my expectations.
