Hey it's Jody and I just jumped on your really quick to tell you about a way to increase your revenue. What I'm going to talk about shopping cart abandonment emails.
Now I know what you think. You are thinking Jody I already do that but hear me out.
As you probably know shopping carts are banned about 70% to 80% of the time and it is 15% more likely to happen when someone is using the cell phone. In this day and age people are using the cell phones shop all the time. So it's very likely to happen.
What I found is a lot of people will be busy with their business and they will rely on the emails that come with your shopping cart. Like Shopify and the method. Theay are generic or not set up for your market and your customer something that you know the most about.
What I would suggest to you is block off four hours of time. Maybe pick a Saturday or Sunday or get with your team members to help you out. Come up with very specific and unique subject lines and emails for your business and your customers and your products. Maybe four subject lines and two emails. Make them unique to you and your products.
How you will know that they are doing better or performing better than your generic shopping cart emails abandoned emails is if they are actually opened at least 40% of the time and between eight and ten percent conversion. That's how you know if you've done better than your generic shopping cart program. I don't know how much revenue you have coming in but a 10% as probably a big boost to your bottom line.
